Today VaiSulWeb announced a new entry-level Web hosting offering based on Linux, specifically designed to be an ideal environment for entry-level websites and Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress. The new packages, dubbed VSW Linux Basic like in the previous Linux offering, are based upon CloudLinux, a Linux distribution designed for service providers, and it will feature a € 29,90 / year cost with an .IT domain name or € 39,90 / year for other most common TLDs.
Besides CloudLinux support, that alone can provide improved security and performance as it is specially designed to avoid any user to starve server resources, the new offering provides new and innovative functionalities like:
- bigger amount of storage space (20GB) and monthly traffic (1TB);
- a new and innovative site-builder that allows our customers to build a new website on their own by using a visual editor inside their browser;
- an improved Web apps installer that allows to install tens of popular applications with a few clicks, including WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and many more;
- if our customers wish so, Web apps installer can also automatically update CMS, its plugins and its theme or simply warn website owner about the release of such updates;
- support for many development frameworks like PHP, node.js, Python (try django with us!) and Ruby;
- daily off-site backups;

The new packages will be managed through cPanel, a leading and popular control panel software that provides tens of functionalities, and they are available now. VSW Linux Basic offering is designed for small and medium-sized websites that won’t need the advanced features of our Cloud Hosting service, which is thus recommended for .NET and Java deployments and to medium or large websites or apps given its scale-out functionalities.
VaiSulWeb thus rationalizes its Web Hosting offering by providing its customers with an entry-level offering (VSW Linux Basic), designed for common websites, and an advanced offering (its Cloud Hosting) aimed at high-performance, high-demanding applications.
