Cluster sets
Windows Server 2019 dramatically improves the numbers of servers in a datacenter by supporting Cluster Sets, which are are a grouping of loosely-coupled clusters. With Cluster Sets virtual machines can be (live-)migrated among different clusters. Cluster Sets also allow to mix and match different generation of CPU hardware inside the clusters.
Stretched clusters
Although not new in Windows Server 2019, stretched clusters allow replication (either synchronous or asynchronous) of the storage to a disaster-recovery site and the transparent failover to that in case of failures.
