Founded in 1998 as Netcore to serve a regional market, in 2001 it expands to the whole Italian market as VaiSulWeb, quickly becoming one of the most innovative realities for the surging Italian market. At that time, VaiSulWeb is one of the few companies delivering Windows Server-based services for the Italian market and serving the ever-growing community of ASP and ASP.NET developers with specialized and innovative services.

Our company embraced the cloud approach even before it was called “cloud”, by advocating the digital transformation of companies and by building a network of partners that allowed our customers to move their data outside the limits of their physical locations. We started by developing VaiSulWeb as a cloud company, breaking the barriers between markets and regions so when “cloud” became the key word for everyone, VaiSulWeb was a cloud company since years.

We specialized in Windows Server-based services while anyone else was doing Linux so we are not worried by the technical difficulties. At a later time we started integrating Linux into our Windows Server-based infastructure as a proof that integration and letting foreign technologies talk to each other is our mission.

2005
VaiSulWeb co-sponsors .NET 2.0 and SQL Server 2005 launch
In 2005, VaiSulWeb is one of the four italian companies that co-sponsor .NET 2.0 and SQL Server 2005 launch event in Rome and it is the first Italian company to provide Windows Server 2003 hosting services.
Multi-region hosting platform
In 2005 VaiSulWeb already provides multi-region hosting services in US and Europe through a network of dedicated hardware. VaiSulWeb also is one of the first companies to provide ASP and .NET support on the same accounts.
2008
Windows Server 2008 + HyperV
Windows Server 2008 becomes the first Windows Server to deliver an hypervisor, Hyper-V. Virtualization becomes pervasive inside VaiSulWeb infrastructure and most of our services will start to run off virtual machines.
First Italian company to provide Windows Server 2008 virtualization services
Leveraging its early adoption of the Windows Server 2008 platform and its experience with Hyper-V, VaiSulWeb becomes the first Italian company to provide Hyper-V-based virtualization services and 64bit services for the Windows Platform.
2010
Windows Server 2008 R2 and .NET 4.0
VaiSulWeb becomes the first Italian company to deliver Windows Server 2008 R2 and .NET 4.0 hosting services.
2011
VaiSulWeb and Microsoft Web Hosting Gallery
On January 2011, VaiSulWeb is the only Italian company that is featured on the Microsoft Web Hosting Gallery at launch date. VaiSulWeb passes all technological requirements to be invited to the program. During the previous months, it was already been invited to the Website Spark program by Microsoft.
2012
Windows Server 2012
With the release of Windows Server 2012 the cloud era begins. VaiSulWeb is invited into Technology Adoption Program (TAP) by Microsoft and starts contributing to the development of Windows Server, System Center and other Microsoft products and services.
VaiSulWeb adds Linux to its portfolio
VaiSulWeb extends its porfolio to include Linux-based solutions. Both dedicated servers and virtual machines can now run Linux and be hosted inside VaiSulWeb infrastructure.
Windows Azure Services for Windows Server
VaiSulWeb is one of the first companies to adopt the new framework that Microsoft released and that aims at bringing a subset of Azure services to the Windows Server platform: Windows Azure Services for Windows Server. Microsoft awards VaiSulWeb with a case study that is published both at international and national level.
2014
Windows Server 2012 R2
VaiSulWeb again becomes one of the first companies to provide services based on the new Windows Server release, its corresponding virtualization services and advanced services like storage spaces that provide advanced storage management based on commodity servers.
Windows Azure Pack hosting services
Leveraging its experience with its ancestor, VaiSulWeb adops the Windows Azure Pack framework to offer services that are compatible with Azure App Service off Windows Server 2012 R2.
2016
Window Server 2016 released
Once again VaiSulWeb is awarded the right to provide test installations of Windows Server 2016 pre-release software to its customers. VaiSulWeb becomes one the first companies to support Windows Server 2016 at launch time. New technologies like Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) become pervasive inside VaiSulWeb infrastructure and company also deploys advanced services like Shielded VMs.
2019
Windows Server 2019
VaiSulWeb adopts and deploy Windows Server 2019 and its related technologies. New features, like Shielded Linux VMs are now available as well as other features. Windows Server 2019 is available for VaiSulWeb customers at launch time.
